We are not an airline  - although we are a fully licensed Charter company (AOC 00081) approved and licensed by the Namibian Civil Aviation Authority and do operate and fly strictly within the law at all times.
We are principally engaged in TOURISM -  most specifically flying into remote tourist destinations in Namibia.
We require our Commercial Pilots to have a Commercial Pilots Licence with valid Instrument Rating and at least 300 hrs Total Time, for Insurance purpose preferred 500 - 1.000 hrs (200 hrs by law) and additional flying experience in charter or bush flying anyways, but also life experience gained within another profession.
A lot of emphasis is placed on guest interaction - our philosophy is an attentive service. Bush Bird pilot's provide the passenger on board during a scenic flight with a commentary on the nature and scenery. Because we do fly small 6-seater aircrafts the job of boarding the aircraft, interacting with our guests, making you feel welcome, comfortable and safe is left to your pilot. Therefore expect our pilots not to be only responsible, reliable and punctual, but also extrovert, friendly, helpful and sociable.
